ENDOPHASIA — is a trans-media live performance project based on the process that begins with the discovery of the possibility of recovery for an individual with aphasia, supported by contemporary technological and artistic approaches and innovative exercise methods.

APHASIA
Aphasia is defined as a language and speech disorder that arises as a result of physical damage or paralysis, observed in all or part of the brain regions responsible for language and speech tasks.
Endophasia is defined as the mental inner speech process that is self-generated and not converted to external sound or visuality (inner language).
ENDO-PHASIA
Trans-media is the practice of designing, sharing, and involving the audience/user in a cohesive story experience through different mediums. Trans-media storytelling represents a process where the inseparable elements of fiction are systematically distributed across multiple channels. Ideally, each medium contributes uniquely to the emergence of the story.
The ENDOPHASIA project involves multiple media usage and storytelling, including the online sharing of verbal exercise materials used by Sinan, his personal story that will be turned into a documentary film, and an abstract narrative multidisciplinary staging process that includes his relationship with aphasia.
The live performance is a part of the entire exercise and research process. Each exhibition will be different as it will also include Sinan Uygun's development, and this process will be monitored and archived.

* The project process, its exhibition, and documentary filming are subject to Sİnan Uygun's consent
regarding the recording of his image and voice and the subject matter of his story.

* Consultations have been made with Sİnan Uygun's doctors for the entire project process and live performance, and all necessary health and ethics
committee permissions have been obtained from Istanbul University Çapa Faculty of Medicine Neurology Department.

* Including the project file, all artistic and production-oriented ideas and materials of the artists have been timestamped until copyrights are obtained
